15 statewide ballot measures were on the 2008 ballot in Oregon. This included three statewide measures on a May ballot and 12 on the November 4 ballot.

Initiatives

  • Through 2006 the total of initiatives that made the ballot in Oregon since 1904, when the process began, was 342.
  • In 2008, 8 initiatives qualified for the November ballot, which brought Oregon's historical total to 350.
  • The deadline for submitting signatures in 2008 was July 3, 2008.
