A Pacific County Fire District 5 Levy Addition measure was on the August 16, 2011 ballot in the fire district 5 area of Pacific County.

This measure sought to add to the current fire district levy by a rate of $.87 per $1,000 of assessed property value for one year in order to further pay for emergency medical services in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall Fire District No. 5 levy upon the regular taxable property within the District, in addition to its regular levy, the sum of $93,072.00 (approximately $.87898 per thousand of assessed valuation) for the year 2012 for the purpose of providing emergency medical care and ambulance services to its citizens?[3]
