Parker Space is a Republican member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 24 since March 21, 2013. He was appointed on February 23, 2013 to replace Gary Chiusano (R), who resigned after being appointed to the post of Sussex County surrogate.[1][2]

Space, the owner and operator of Space Farms Museum and Zoo, is a former mayor of Wantage and Sussex County freeholder. He is a member of the Wantage Fire Department and the board of directors of the Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative.[1]

Space ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 24. Space is bracketed with fellow incumbent Alison McHose. He was unopposed in the June 4 Republican primary. He is challenged by Susan M. Williams (D) and William Weightman (D) in the general election which takes place on November 5, 2013.[3][4]


Space and his wife, Jill, have three children.
