Adultery ban repeal
On January 30, 2013, Steadman and Representatives Daniel Kagan introduced House Bill 13-1166, entitled "A Bill for an act concerning the repeal of certain crimes than marital status as an element of the crime." This bill would repeal the penalty-less law against adultery and also the law criminalizing "promoting sexual immorality" as a misdemeanor. HB 1166 was referred to the Judiciary Committee of the Colorado House of Representatives and scheduled for a hearing on February 21.
