Pat Strachota (b. June 6, 1955) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 58th District since 2005. She previously served on the Washington County Board from 1986-2002.

Strachota is a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Washington County Agriculture and Industry Society, Washington County Historical Society, West Bend Chamber of Commerce, and the West Bend Noon Rotary.[1]

Strachota is running for re-election to Wisconsin State Assembly District 58. She was opposed by Republican Jeff Kling in the September 14, 2010 primary election. She is unopposed in the general election on November 2, 2010.

Legislation sponsored in 2009 includes:

  • AB-38 Income tax exclusion created for the amount of capital gain that is invested in certain types of Wisconsin businesses; conditions and definition provisions
  • AB-113 Development zones, enterprise development zones, agricultural development zones, technology zones, and airport development zones consolidated; LAB audit required
