Patricia A. Serpa (b. July 8, 1948) is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 27. Serpa joined the Rhode Island House of Representatives in 2007.

Education

Serpa earned her BEd from Mount Saint Joseph College. She went on to receive her MEd from Providence College.

Serpa won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 27. Serpa was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and defeated Kyle Pendola (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Serpa won re-election to the 27th District Seat in 2010. She was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary and defeated Republican Mark Fleury and independent Thomas Jones in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][3]

In 2008 Serpa was elected to the Rhode Island House District 27. Serpa (D) finished with 3,185 votes and was followed by Ericka Atwell (R) with 2,357 votes and David Michael (I) with 448 votes.[4] Serpa raised $16,820 for her campaign fund.[5]
