Patrick Brutus is a former 2013 Democratic candidate in the election to the U.S. House in the special election for the 2nd Congressional District of Illinois. He withdrew on February 18, 2013 and endorsed Robin Kelly.[1]

Career

Brutus has worked for the City of Chicago for over six years, addressing issues such as affordable housing, creation of jobs, and economic development. He was previously employed for 11 years at the State of Illinois Department of Transportation.[2]
