Paul Greenawalt was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 43 of the Michigan House of Representatives. He unsuccessfully ran for the same seat in 2008.

Greenawalt is a former member of the US Taxpayers Party of Michigan, for which he served as 2nd Vice Chairman[1][2] from 2010 - 2011, a volunteer position with no pay. Greenawalt was elected as the Republican Precinct Delegate in the City of Pontiac in the year of 2006.

He has stated that he will likely run for office again in 2014.

Greenawalt ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 43. He was defeated by incumbent Gail Haines in the Republican primary on August 7.[3][4]

Greenawalt and his wife Bonita have two children, and attend Church in Waterford. He is a former Christian rapper and musician who was in a band.[1]
