Paul Pedersen was a Republican candidate for District 22 of the Wisconsin State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Previously, Pedersen served on the District Board of the Milwaukee Area Technical from 1995-2002 College.

He has been the owner of Pedersen Associates (insurance agency) since 1978.

Pedersen earned a B.A. in English/Journalism from the University of Wisconsin in 1975. [1]

Pedersen was defeated by Democratic incumbent Sandy Pasch in the November 2 general election. Pedersen was unopposed in the primary election. [2]

Campaign themes

Pedersen's campaign slogan is "It's time we work together." His campaign website says that Pedersen's top priority is to get "people who want to work back to work." He does not support a sales or income tax increase, and feels that the problems will be solved with new ideas and not the "old politics." [3]
