Paula Bradshaw is a 2012 Green Party candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 12th Congressional District of Illinois.


Campaign themes

According to Bradshaw's website, her campaign themes include:

  • Environment: "Our goal must be to create a carbon-free AND nuclear-free energy and transportation system."
  • Healthcare: "Today we waste hundreds of billions of dollars each year to enrich the private insurance “middlemen.” We drive up health-care costs by forcing each health-care facility to deal with hundreds of different providers."
  • Jobs: "We also need to raise the minimum wage, so that the jobs we create allow workers to buy the products produced by our manufacturers and small businesses."[1]
