Pavel plans to run for United States Senate in 2014. He will seek the Democratic nomination in the primary on May 20, 2014. The general election takes place on November 4, 2014.

Campaign themes

In a biography submitted to Ballotpedia, Pavel stated his campaign promises. If elected to represent Oregon in the U.S. Senate, he says, he will, "I[n] a few months promise to help to create a few millions jobs, reduce debt by a few trillions dollars, improve heavy traffics on all US HWYs and in cities, save nation a few billions dollars on the health care and etc." [1]

Pavel says his political philosophy is to be honest: " a Real Representative of We the People, and fight for them. Be an Advocate for the Constitution of the USA," which he believes has been abused by federal officials charged with the document's legal protection.

Campaign donations

Pavel describes himself as, "honest, incorruptible, with Faith, Integrity and High Moral Principles." He has thus vowed to "not accept any 'donation, contribution' from no one" during his 2014 Senate campaign.[1]
