Pete Prisch (b. October 28, 1969) is a member of the Nebraska Unicameral representing District 4. He was first elected in 2006.

Born October 28, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska, Senator Pirsch is the son of former State Senator Carol Pirsch [1]. Sen. Pirsch is a graduate of University of Virginia, (B.A. in government), 1992; University of Nebraska College of Law (J.D.), 1997; University of Nebraska-Omaha College of Business (M.B.A.), 2005. Prior to being elected to the Nebraska State Legislature, Pirsch ran his family food sales business, and was an Omaha City Prosecutor.[2]

Pirsch graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1988, earned his Bachelors degree in government in 1992 from the University of Virginia, his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska-College of Law in 1997, and his MBA in 2005 from the University of Nebraska-Omaha College of Business.

Pirsch was the vice-president of PBC, Inc. and is a criminal prosecutor in the city of Omaha.

Pirsch has been a Nebraskan senator since 2007.

Pirsch is currently involved with a number of organizations, including Board of the Nebraska Crime Commission, board of trustees, St. Vincent de Paul Church, Boy Scouts of America, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Midlands, public service committee, Omaha Bar Association, Nebraska State Bar Association, Omaha Jaycees, Omaha Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Council, Rotary Club, and the Knights of Columbus.

Pirsch serves on the Nebraska Crime Commission Board and the Nelson's Creek Sanitary Improvement District 337 Board.
