Peter Barca (b. August 7, 1955) is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 64th District from 1984-1995, and currently since 2098. He currently serves as Majority Caucus Chair. He previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1993-1995.

Barca has worked as an employment specialist, CEO of Northpointe Resources, and as a teacher. He is the President of Aurora Association International, co-founder of the International Society for Cardiovascular Translational Research (ISCTR), and board member of the Kenosha Family and Aging Society.[1]

Barca was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 64. He is opposed by Libertarian Daane Hoffman in the general election on November 2, 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14, 2010 primary election. [2]
