Biography

Potvin graduated from the Michigan Military Academy, and earned his bachelor's degree from Albion College and his master's degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. Now retired, his professional experience includes working as the Chief Executive Officer of Western Concrete. Potvin has served in the Michigan National Guard.

Potvin won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 102. He ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and defeated Brendan Maturen (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Potvin won election to the District 102 seat in 2010. He defeated Linda Howard, Morris Langworthy, Jr., Jeremy Mishler and Ryan Steig in the August 3 Republican primary. He defeated Jodi Gabert (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][3]
