A Boise native, Harris spent many years living in Northern Utah, and is now a Seattle transplant. While living in Utah she got an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics. She then spent half a year teaching English to university students in China. Upon returning to the U.S. Harris completed a Masters in Economics from Utah State University. During her program she worked for a non-profit, Strata, as their Research Director. When not working she enjoys hiking with her dog Abby, reading, and trading theories about Game of Thrones.
