Political recall efforts captures a list of recall efforts by level of government and is organized by year. Recalls are the process by which an elected official can be removed from office via a public vote.

From 1911-2012 there have been 32 successful recalls. Eleven of those recalls have taken place since 2011. Twenty-one efforts successfully forced an elected official back onto the ballot but failed at the ballot box. Thirteen of those efforts occurred in 2011 and 2012.[1]

Legend:
Approveda = Recall approved at the ballot
Defeatedd = Recall defeated at the ballot
Proposed ballot measures that were not on a ballot = Recall did not make ballot
