Both measures were defeated
The first measure sought to increase the emergency services levy by a rate of $1.42 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for fire and emergency services offered in the city.
The second measure sought to increase the current operations levy by a rate of $4.08 per $1,000 of assessed property value in order to help with general city operational costs.
