The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) is a private, non-partisan organization based in California. One area of focus for the organization is researching public opinion on California's ballot initiatives.

PPIC was established in 1994 with a $70 million endowment provided by William Hewlett, the co-founder of Hewlett-Packard.

PPIC's public opinion polling is well-regarded by the California media.

Mark Baldassare is PPIC's president and CEO.[1]
