According to the Pueblo County League of Women Voters those in favor of Issue 1B argued:
1.) In 2012 Colorado voters, including Pueblo County, passed Amendment 64 to legalize the personal use and regulation of adult recreational marijuana.
2.) The county has the responsibility to regulation and enforce the retail operations of marijuana growth and sales. Ballot Proposal 1B will help fund enforcement and administration of marijuana in Pueblo County.
