Raj Mukherji was a 2013 Democratic candidate for District 33 of the New Jersey General Assembly.

Biography

Mukherji earned his Bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State College, his Master of Liberal Arts focused on national security from the University of Pennsylvania, and his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School. His professional experience includes working as an entrepreneur co-founding a public affairs firm, and serving as Deputy Mayor of Jersey City.[1]

Mukherji ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 33. Mukherji is bracketed with Carmelo G. Garcia and defeated John Hilt IV, Anthony Mills, and Peter Basso in the June 4 Democratic primary. He is challenged by Jude Anthony Tiscornia (R) and Armando Hernandez (R) in the general election which takes place on November 5, 2013.
