Ralph Alvarado was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 28 of the Kentucky State Senate.[1] He ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2010.

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent R. J. Palmer II ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Ralph Alvarado ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Alvarado defeated Palmer in the general election.[1][2][3]
