Randy Hunt is a Republican member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the Fifth Barnstable district. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.


Hunt earned his B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas El Paso. His professional experience includes working as a CPA at his own practice in Cape Cod, and at Peat Marwick (now KPMG LLP), where he also served as senior manager in the audit practice; and as CFO for Aerovox, a publicly traded optical sensor manufacturer in Juarez, Mexico.

Hunt won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Fifth Barnstable District. Hunt was unopposed in the September 6 Republican primary and defeated R. Patrick Ellis (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
