A Ravenna Township Fire Levy Renewal measure will be on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Ravenna, which is in Muskegon County.

This measure seeks to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $2 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the Township of Ravenna renew and continue to levy 2.0 mills ($2.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the years 2012-2015, inclusive so as to continue funding for fire protection purposes at the same millage rate as last approved by the Township voters?[2]
