Herron ran for election in the 2010 election for Missouri House of Representatives District 116. Herron ran unopposed in the August 3 Constitution primary and was defeated by Wanda Brown (R) in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010. Mike Stevenson (D) was also defeated in the general election.[1][2]
