Raymond Blagmon was born in Richmond, Virginia on March 23, 1968 and grew up on military bases moving around from one base to another.  Blagmon attended John F. Kennedy High School where he graduated in 1986. 
After high school, Raymond Blagmon attended Howard University and the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting in 1994 and subsequently went on to pass the CPA exam. He went on to expand his education at American University and the University of Chicago where he earned a Master’s of Science in Taxation in 1998 and a MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship in 2002, respectively.
Blagmon has been a Certified Personal Accountant for 16 years.
