Raymond Walter is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 148 since 2012. He was first elected in the November 8, 2011 special election and was sworn in on January 3, 2012. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when James Hayes (R) resigned to accept a private sector finance job.[1]
