A Readmond Township Operational Levy Renewal measures was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the township of Readmond which is in Emmet County.

The measure sought to renew the current levy of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to help pay for general expenses of the township.[1]

This measure was approved

PROPOSAL FOR RENEWAL OF

EXTRA-VOTED MILLAGE FOR TOWNSHIP OPERATING PURPOSES Shall the previously voted increase in the 15 mill limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Readmond Township be renewed at 1.0000 mills ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of the taxable value) for four (4) years, 2011 through 2014, inclusive, for general township operating expenses; and shall the township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, which increase will raise in the first year of levy an estimated $77,799.00?[3]
