Readmond Township Operational Levy Renewal (August 2010)
The measure sought to renew the current levy of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to help pay for general expenses of the township.

EXTRA-VOTED MILLAGE FOR TOWNSHIP OPERATING PURPOSES Shall the previously voted increase in the 15 mill limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Readmond Township be renewed at 1.0000 mills ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of the taxable value) for four (4) years, 2011 through 2014, inclusive, for general township operating expenses; and shall the township levy such renewal in millage for said purpose, which increase will raise in the first year of levy an estimated $77,799.00?
