The Republican Party of Arkansas is the Arkansas affiliate of the national Republican Party. Its chairman is Doyle Webb and it is headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas.[1] Webb became the party's chair on December 13, 2008.[2]

According to the Encyclopedia of Arkansas, "While more successful in recruiting candidates than in the past and with the state now reliably Republican in presidential races, the Arkansas Republican Party remains disadvantaged in the experience level of the candidates that it offers for most political offices in the state. This is shown most clearly in state legislative and local offices, where Arkansas remained one of the most Democratic states into the twenty-first century."
