Rex Bell was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the 6th Congressional District of Indiana. He was defeated by Luke Messer (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.

Bell was a 2010Libertarian candidate for District 54 of the Indiana House of Representatives. The primary election was on May 4, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Bell lost to Republican candidate Luke Messer on November 6, 2012.[1]

Bell lost to Republican incumbent Thomas Saunders by a margin of 10,492 to 3,846. Democratic candidate Bruce Gaylor came in second with 4,166 votes. [3] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

In the Libertarian convention, Bell was unopposed. [4]
