One down ballot state executive position is up for election in the state of Rhode Island in 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014.

Rhode Island has a mixed primary system, in which unaffiliated voters may vote in a party's primary, but they will then be considered affiliated with that party. In order to disaffiliate, they must file a "Change of Party Designation" form.[1]
