Blowers ran for election in the 2010 election for Missouri House of Representatives District 102. Blowers ran unopposed in the August 3 Constitution primary election and was defeated by Paul Wieland (R) in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010. Incumbent Jeff Roorda (D) was also defeated in the general election.[1][2]
