Richard Grayson was a 2012 Americans Elect candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Arizona. He was a 2012 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Arizona. He was defeated in the special election primary on April 17, 2012.

Grayson ran in the 2012 special election for the U.S. House, representing Arizona's 8th District. The election is being held to replace recently resigned Representative Gabrielle Giffords. He was defeated by Charlie Manolakis in the April 17 Green Party primary.
