Richard Macellaro was a Democratic candidate for District 7 of the New York State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.

Macellaro was uncontested in the September 14 Democratic primary. He was defeated by incumbent Michael Fitzpatrick (R) in the general election on November 2.[1] In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, Macellaro was also running on the Working Familes ticket.
