Richard Sossi (b. June 23, 1943) is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates. He has represented District 36 since January 8, 2003 and currently serves as Deputy Minority Whip.

Sossi is Owner of The Ship & Soldier Shop. He previously worked as Department Manager of Montgomery Wards, realtor, and served in the United States Navy.

Sossi is Chair of the Queen Anne's County Delegation, and a member of the Maryland Veterans Caucus, Task Force on Traffic Capacity Across the Chesapeake Bay, Bainbridge Development Advisory Board, Maryland Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus, and the Maryland Rural Caucus.[1]
