Rick Hansen (b. March 1, 1963) is a Democratic-Farmer-Labor member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 52A. He was first elected to the chamber in 2004.

Biography

Hansen earned his B.S. in Biology from Upper Iowa University and M.S. in Soil Management from Iowa State University. His professional experience includes working as an organic farmer and co-owner of Harmony Cedar, Inc.; he previously worked for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture from 1988 to 2005, and as a Supervisor of the Pesticide Applicator Certification and Training Program.[1]
