Rick Olson (b. November 18, 1949) was a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 55 from January 1, 2011 to January 1, 2013.

Olson has previously served in Washington State's legislature from 1981 to 1983, and then served as an attorney in the Washington State Governor's office.

Olson graduated from Michigan State University in 1970, and then from Stanford Law School in 1978.

Olson won election to the District 55 Seat in 2010. He defeated Frank Chrzanowski, Andrew Sosnoski and Mary Thayer in the August 3 Republican primary. He defeated Mike Smith (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.
