Both measures were defeated
The first measure sought to renew the current non residential property tax set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further two years in order to help pay for operational costs of the school district.
The second measure sought to increase the current property tax by a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for acquiring land and building new facilities in the district.
