Kahl is running in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 47. He defeated Amanda Hall in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012.[1] Sandy Bakk ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Incumbent Republican Keith Ripp is running in District 42. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2]
