Robert Bacon is a Republican member of the Iowa State Senate. He has represented District 5 since 2011.

Bacon has managed funeral homes since 1983. He is currently the owner of Bacon Funeral Homes in Maxwell, IA. He has also served on the city councils of Freemont and Maxwell. He and his wife Carol have four children.
