Robert "Bobby" Guerra is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 41. He was first elected to the chamber in September 2012. Guerra filed to run in a special election to fill the seat, which was left vacant following the resignation of Veronica Gonzales (D) on June 29, 2012. However, since Guerra was the only candidate who filed to run in the election, the Texas Secretary of State's office declared him the winner and called off the election.[1]

Guerra won election in the 2012 election for Texas House of Representatives, District 41. Guerra ran unopposed in the May 29 primary election and defeated Miriam Martinez (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
