Maresca is running in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 59. He is running unopposed in the Constitution primary on September 13, 2012. Incumbent Alan N. Maisel ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. No candidates filed to run in the Republican primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [1][2]

Maresca was a Conservative Party candidate for District 59 of the New York State Assembly. He was uncontested in the September 14, 2010 Conservative Party primary. Maresca was defeated by incumbent Alan Maisel (D) in the general election on November 2.[3]
