Robert Mathieson is a Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 21 since 2008.

He is seeking re-election and will face Republican Ronald Villanueva in the November 3, 2009 general election.

Issue positions

On his official website, Mathieson lists three major issues: economy, education, and public safety.[1]

  • Economy - Richmond should be "cutting its own operating costs and cutting taxes for middle class families to help get through this recession."
