Robert Nutting (b. March 18, 1947) is a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 78 since 2008, and previously from 1999 to 2006. Nutting serves as the Speaker of the House from 2011-2012.[1] Nutting ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 78.

Nutting worked as a Pharmacist at Wal-Mart from 2007-2008.

He served on the Oakland Town Council from 1977-1988.[2]

Nutting won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 78. Nutting ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and defeated Harry Hayes (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
