Robin Schimminger (b. September 17, 1947) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 140 since 1977. Schimminger's political experiences include being the assembly chair for the Western New York Delegation, New York State Legislature and a member of Erie County Legislature.

Schimminger is an attorney.

Schimminger attended the William Butler Yeats International School of Literature, Univeristy of College in Dublin; earned a BA from Canisius College, Buffalo; and a JD from New York University School of Law. He is married to Melinda Downey.[1]
