Language on the ballot:
||Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed on taxable property in the City of Rockwood, County of Wayne, Michigan be increased by 3.2275 mills ($3.2275 per thousand dollars of taxable value) as new additional millage in excess of the limitation imposed by Michigan Compiled Laws Section 211.34(d) to partially restore a portion of the millage previously approved by the electors to provide funds for restoring and maintaining general municipal services, including but not limited to police and fire, public works, parks and recreation and capital improvements throughout the City? It is estimated that, if levied, the 3.2275 mills would raise approximately $210,000 when first levied in 2013.
