Roger H. Bedford, Jr. is a Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, currently serving as the senate's Minority Leader. He has represened the 6th District since 1994, and previously served from 1982 through 1990. He was a candidate for United States Senate in 1996. Bedford received a bachelor's degree at the University of Alabama, and a law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University.[1]
