Roger Thomas (b. December 13, 1950) is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 24th District from 1996-2000 and currently since 2003.

Thomas is a Representative with Iowa Workforce Development as a Business, Project Director for Country Heritage Community, and a paramedic.

Thomas is a member of the American Legion, American Red Cross Board, Clayton County Emergency Medical Services Board, County Extension Council Board, E911 Board, Farm Bureau Board, Masonic Lodge Board, Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board, Northeast Iowa Safety Foundation Advisory Board, and Volunteers in Service to America Board.[1]

Thomas ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 55. Thomas ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012 and will face Michael T. Klimesh (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
