If approved, this proposal authorizes the Township of Rome renew a property tax levy of .5 mill ($.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to fund road and bridge maintenance and improvement. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $29,500.

|“||Shall the expired previous voted increase in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Rome Township, of .5 mill ($.50 per $1,000 of taxable value), be renewed and levied for 4 years, 2013 through 2016 inclusive, for the purpose of road and bridge maintenance and improvement within the Township, raising an estimated $29,500 in the first year the millage is levied? ||”|
