Ron Carlisle is a Republican member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 30. He has served in the chamber since his appointment in August 2011 to replace Bob Stenehjem after his death in a car accident.[1]

Carlisle served in the North Dakota House of Representatives from 1991 to 2008.

Biography

Cook earned his A.A. degree from Bismarck State College in 1964 and B.S. from Black Hills State College in 1966. He owned a tree nursery called Trees-N-More prior to his retirement. Cook served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962.
